I wake up and the first thing I try and do is drink a lot of water, I put the kettle on for tea and my no poo solution. Nowadays, since I am staying in France where my mother has a beautiful garden, so I use fresh mint leaves instead of tea bags.
Zero Waste Tip
Make zero waste tea by using fresh mint instead of tea bags. Other alternatives are :
- Fresh peppermint
- Chopped Ginger
Then I proceed to my exercise part of the day.
I like doing some yoga stretches in combination with exercises given to me by my physiotherapist. I have already made a full post about which yoga poses are best for the back, so feel free to check it out here!
For my smoothie bowl : I add home made oat milk to frozen berries and mix it up.

Make your own oat milk by soaking oats in water overnight, adding a pinch of cinnamon, blending it up and straining out the bits.
When I eat breakfast, I also tend to stand whenever I eat breakfast because chairs are evil. Honestly, one of the biggest improvements to my back was to stop sitting on chairs and to stand or sit on the ground more. Humans were not designed to sit on chairs and office workers often struggle with lower back pain.

Hard water makes hair pretty dull and disgusting, so the best way to counteract it is to rinse your hair with an acidic solution. You can both do this with both lemon and water or apple cider vinegar and water.
