Home made pizza is a crowd pleaser. The best part is, you can make a whole variety of pizzas for people to try.

For the base, I like using wraps. Most shops have a variety of choices : spinach, quinoa, soy or wholemeal.The wraps are definitely cheaper than pizza bases and make a perfect alternative. Then the bases are covered with tomato paste with some of the following topings :

  • Mushrooms
  • Spinach
  • Red Onions
  • Zuchinni
  • Corn
  • pine apple
  • Bio cheese

Biocheese is a dairy free alternative to cheese : I am trying to find the perfect vegan cheese that melts. However this one is not the way to go. While on the pizza, the cheese tastes fine. While by itself it has a bit of a bitter after taste. I am going to have to do a comparison of vegan cheeses.

One of the many benefits of cooking vegan pizzas, is that there is nothing on the pizza which needs proper cooking.You can make a variety of pizzas all under 10 minutes in the oven!
